The weather was gorgeous this weekend and we took full advantage of it. We spent every possible moment outside to say the least. Bernie had to work Saturday morning and then enjoyed his first round of golf this season. The kids and I played outside and visited the part with our neighbor and her little girl..they loved it! Following lunch and naps we spent more time outside as I then met some friends for dinner while Bernie got some daddy time with the kids. Sunday again was another fun filled day outside as Bernie did some cleaning in the garage and I did some house work when time allowed. On Sunday our neighborhood put up the bounce house we all purchased together last year. The kids love playing in it as it provides on again, off again entertainment all day long. I know this sounds crazy but the kids got a little hot playing in the bounce house and before you know it they all had on their swim suits and were running through the sprinkler. Yes, crazy to think of kids being in their swim suits in March in addition to applying sun screen right and left to make sure the kids don't get sun burnt. I for sure am not complaining. Tenley did get a little sun on her face and ears this weekend as I didn't get it protected well enough. So lesson learned for mom.

Tenley was even able to enjoy the bounce house and loved it
Sunday we also surprised the kids with an early Easter present. We have been wanting to get them a John Deere Gator for a while and thought Easter would be the perfect time. Yes, it was a little early but we figured since we are traveling for Easter this year we would give it to them so they could enjoy it with the great weather we have been having. Hudson is the "driver" as Paisley's legs just aren't long enough to keep the pedal pushed down. She doesn't mind being passenger though. Tenley wants to ride in it so bad but it doesn't have seat belts and it worries me to have her ride in the back. I have let her ride in the back a few times while supervising but just don't prefer so we keep it to a minimum. The kids LOVE the gator to say the least and know that they will be using it non-stop this summer.
Tenley's ride that she loves!
