Friday night we let the kids play with the neighbors as the pool was set up since the weather was so nice and grilled out. Saturday we went to the Grimes parade with a couple of our neighbors and some friends. The parade was great and there was more candy then the kids knew what to do with. After the parade we drove to Granger to do a little car shopping as we may be interested in something different in the future. After a little car shopping we spent the afternoon relaxing at home. Bernie attended his co-workers wedding reception Saturday afternoon while my good friend Tiffany and her twins came over for dinner and a play date. It was great seeing them and the kids had a blast. Later that evening when Bernie got home we met some neighbors in town for the Grimes celebration as the kids enjoyed riding a few rides at the carnival before we watched the fireworks. When we got home Tenley started running a fever which I thought was maybe associated with the shots she got a week before at her Well Baby check as the doctor said she may show signs 7-10 days out. But throughout the night and all day on Sunday she still had the fever which was higher than I knew was appropriate for shots. So Sunday we laid low as Tenley was really fussing and winy. Bernie did hit up the driving range with our neighbor for a short bit on Sunday but other then that lots of hanging out and trying to get some little things done before the week begins.
