My Birthday

The 4th of July was my 31st birthday so I am officially in my thirties. With the holiday falling in the middle of the week we were just excited to have a relaxing day as Bernie and I both had to return to work on Thursday. The day started with breakfast at Village Inn followed by an afternoon at the pool. It was so hot being in the water is the only way to stay cool and the kids love the pool. After the pool we hit up the local ice cream shop for the best ice cream. It was delicious to say the least. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing before some friends came over over before fireworks. It was honestly a great ending to the best birthday. And to top it off Bernie and the kids got me an IPhone as my gift. It was quite funny though as Hudson handed me my gift and told me to not peak but that it was a new phone. Too cute! So now as my husband says we have the best phones. A big thanks to everyone who thought of me on my special day through messages, texts and phone calls. Each year truly does get better and I am excited to see what the next year has to offer.
