Bernie worked on our landscaping project on Saturday. He rented a sod cutter and got the landscaping design cut out and we picked out the block boarder. Its going to look great when its complete yet at this point in the year we will see how far we get. Saturday night we got a visit from Chance, Allison & Rosie as they were in town for dinner celebrating Allison's birthday and their anniversary. It was so nice seeing them and the kids love seeing Rosie. They just can't get enough of her.
Sunday we went over to our friend Josh and Billie's house as our other friends Brandon & Sarah and their family came to town for a get together. We love getting together with these guys and so do our kids. When the three families get together we have 9 kids age 5 and under. Yes, that sounds crazy but they all play so well together which allows the adults to enjoy themselves too. We only wish we could all see each other more.
Monday we were back to more work around the house. Bernie worked on prepping the pillars in the front and back of the house in order to stain. The pillars and landscaping are our two fall projects that have been keeping us or should I say Bernie busy. I do try to help him when I can or when the kids allow. Anymore Bernie has been doing the work solo or with the help of a neighbor while I am on kid duty. Believe it or not we both tend to be more productive then one would expect.
