Oh ENT....again

Alright, this time I am not writing about me and the ENT. Instead I am writing about Tenley and the ENT. Unfortunately Tenley has had 3 double ear infections since May, pretty much back to back with little relief. So, we took it upon ourselves to take her to the same clinic I went to in order to get this ear thing resolved. And the answer pretty much is that she still had fluid behind her ears which turned into another ear infection over the weekend, one of her ear drums is retracted, and she needs to grow out of the problem. With this said and the fact that she has ear infections during the season that most don't we decided to get tubes put in her ears September 13. I did ask the doctor the longevity of the tubes, due to Paisley needing them replaced twice, and he said they should last 6-18 months. So what this tells us is that the previous ENT Paisley and I were visiting either did something wrong himself or put the wrong size tube in her ear. Of course this upsets me because I feel like this ENT neglected my previous issues which lead to more major issues for me and due to not doing his job right lead to Paisley having to have tubes replaced twice and still no success following the last surgery. Thankfully she has somewhat started to grow out of the issue - I know I say that but I did just take her to the doctor this week for an ear infection. But it she gets ear infections far less now than ever before. So, unfortunately it looks as if Tenley too has inherited the bad ear genetics, but I am glad we have seeked out a new ENT and are getting the issue resolved so she starts feeling better.
