ISU Game and B-Days

This past weekend we met some friends and their families in Ames and tailgated a while before we took the kids to the ISU football game. Bernie had received tickets from work and the seats were great. We of course went to our old stomping grounds Hickory Park before tailgating and enjoyed some awesome food. The kids had fun tailgating, playing with friends and going to the game, but with lack of naps and it being a night game we left at half time and headed home. It was fun being back up in Ames like old times!

Sunday was a day full of birthday parties and seeing friends and neighbors. It started with our friends Jason and Ashlee's son Hunter's 2nd birthday. The kids love going to their house and seeing Hunter. Everyone had fun celebrating Hunter's Mickey Mouse birthday. Following Hunter's birthday party we came home for quick naps before going to the neighbors son Gavin's 3rd birthday. It was a nice evening celebrating and hanging out with neighbors. We were excited to be a part of both birthdays and look forward seeing everyone again this coming weekend for Hudson's birthday party.
