Cool treats for hot summer days

This past weekend after the kids woke they wanted to go outside and play in the water. Since the temps have been crazy hot and its warm at 8:30 am we decided to start the day out right. Plus our awesome neighbors treated us to a water table they received from friends. They already have one and the kids love it so it was such a nice gesture of them to think of us because now the kids can play in ours 24/7. Our neighbor was outside too with her little girl so they came over also and played before we ended up linking up with another neighbor. While at our house Hudson wanted an ice cream cone so we figure what better for breakfast than ice cream. The kids loved it to say the least! Another one of our neighbors ended up coming over so we decided to move to her backyard where it was a bit more shaded and cooler.  The kids still enjoyed playing in the pool, sprinkler and swing set.To top off the morning we all ordered McDonald's for breakfast and loved it! It was a fun neighborhood gathering all before 10:00 am. One of the reasons we love our Jace Landing neighborhood.
