Ouchie Wasps

Last Thursday we went to Adventureland for Bernie's company's annual picnic. The kids wanted to go to the water park first which we were okay with since it was a warm day. Well, it wasn't Hudson's lucky day as within an hour of being there he got stung under the eye by a water wasp. I have never been stung so have no idea what he was experiencing but based on his actions it hurt. We were able to get some burn relief gel from the life guards along with a cold pack. Neither made the pain go away but with time Hudson got some relief and was able to enjoy the rest of the evening riding rides. It wasn't the evening we expected but Hudson was a trooper.
