Well, Well, Well.......

So what have we been up to since Mexico? Well, where do I start besides so busy to post a blog I guess :)
I will give a quick recap and then hopefully do better about blogging.

A couple weeks after out awesome, relaxing trip to Mexico we headed back to the Quad Cities for Chantel & Rich's wedding reception. It was great to see family along with enjoy great food, music and dancing. The kids love receptions so it was a fun night by all.

This fall Hudson and Paisley both played soccer and were on the same team with mom and dad as coaches. They were on a team of 6 and had practice on night a week and scrimmages against other teams on Saturdays. They both had fun and loved it! Looks like we may be doing spring and fall soccer this next year possibly.

October 4th was Hudson's 6th birthday. We celebrated with friends at SkyZone, our immediate family with dinner and bowling and then a family party at our house. It was a busy 3 days for sure but Hudson loved it all. We love our little guy to pieces and all the joy and love he brings to our family.

In October we also visited the Center Grove Orchard which has been an annual thing and we love. The kids enjoyed the animals, corn pool, bouncy pillow, slide and hayride to pick our pumpkins.

The kids were super excited for Halloween and all the festivities. They celebrated at school which was fun for them and I was able to volunteer at Paisley class which pretty special for her and fun for me. Our neighbors also had a Halloween party for the kids that we went to before trick or treating on Halloween. The kids had fun playing games and eating snacks before the much anticipated Trick or Treating. The kids were pros and had a blast going around the neighborhood and scored a ton of candy.

That sums up the month of October...lots of fun things before the arrival of baby Nixon.
